Bakrid, also recognized as Eid-ul-Adha, holds immense importance for Muslims worldwide. This festival pays homage to the profound devotion of Prophet Ibrahim, who was willing to sacrifice his son as a testament to his commitment to Allah.

Marking the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, Bakrid is observed through the distribution of meat and the offering of prayers. According to legend, Allah, recognizing Ibrahim's unwavering devotion, sent the angel Jibril or Gabriel to substitute a goat for Ibrahim's son. Bakrid is celebrated approximately 70 days after the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
