March 13th holds special significance as National K9 Veterans Day, a dedicated occasion to acknowledge and pay homage to our valiant four-legged warriors. Established in 2009, this day serves as a tribute to the courageous service of military working dogs, search and rescue dogs, police dogs, and customs and border patrol canines. It provides us with a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude for their unwavering courage and loyalty throughout history.
